I love how we have a 17-page thread about players transferring when no player has actually asked for a transfer.  TBP is gonna TBP.

Now 18-pages

How many total pages are we going to devote to the CCS replacement that isn't happening? 18 pages is nothing.

Wonder if he still feels this way after Strong’s latest “its all my players’ fault” presser.

Also, why is his header pic on twitter a group shot of UCF players?? Hacked or lost a bet?

Feel free to go 2 Johnny Ford's twitter page. I simply posted a tweet of a player who supports CCS and still waiting for this influx of transfers.

Agreed.  Everyone stop posting about everything now.

Sherwin is to blame as well with his "bowl season roster will be interesting"and "our DM's are blowing up from players" comments.  We may lose a QB or 2 but we also have young QB's who are supposed to be the real deal.  We're going to be just fine when it comes to the amount of talent on the roster.

The most obvious transfer IMO would be Darnell Salomon. I am not saying he has made things easy on himself with lack of effort when targeted and drops but he has basically been benched.

His problem is he only has one year of eligibility left.

Even if he is projected as a FA? He has not shown enough due to injuries. Even with Gilbert gone MW would still have to be a major contributior. Again, there are a A LOT of quality TEs in CFB.

Kind of a tough call. I'm pretty sure he'll test the waters though.

Gilbert runs an extremely simplistic offense. People on this board mentioned it a thousand times. You hear TV announcers mention it occasionally. Many routes bunch the receivers together. Wilcox had around 40 catches this year against an extremely soft schedule.  Our offense was getting stifled against almost any remotely decent team, especially towards the end of the year. Maybe it's because they had plenty of film on Barnett by that time? Maybe it is REALLY easy to gameplan against? 2019 will be a much more difficult schedule (on paper anyway). Not sure there can be enough improvement with Gilbert still at OC to even reach .500 next year, unless Battles or McCloud turn out to be a QF-type. What would MW's role be with a new OC? It's definitely questionable whether he can up his stock or not by staying. Not sure how his combine would compare to the others TEs you mentioned (40 time, bench reps, etc..)
