But the conference also has a history of working with its bowl and TV partners to forge the best matchups. " Were some of our conference mates promoted to P5 status without telling us? Huh? - I think you are confusing AAC with ACC. He is saying the American would want the best chance for a win over a P5 school so that option would be Cincy/FSU not USF/FSU.
