wish this had NOT included Barnett as he is better than them imo.

Rather had seen it be CO vs BK -- and I would pick BK for a few reasons-- one of them being he had a few nice throws-- or flings really -- of the ball. He also did not panic as much as CO did -- who seemed to try to win the game every down-- something that a certain Buc QB also has a problem with.

One thing was certain== once they went to CO for the remainder of the game, we were toast. Game should have ended at least 42-23 but Cinci took pity on us at the end. UCF will not do this. I doubt Temple will either.

anyway-- I picked BB. But I have this odd feeling we don't know the whole story about him. Then again-- you can say that about this entire team and coaching staff. I will keep on watching and rooting them on but our team is a wounded animal and even for the sake of extra practice-- it might be a good idea if we passed on going to a bowl game. Or maybe not--- it might be the last one we see for a long time.

BB didn't play, I really didn't think he'd capture the majority of the votes.  My cynicism backfired on me.

It is funny that the whole 2nd half the announcers kept talking about how much better Kean looked compared to CO.

As bad as we are we need the bowl if for no other reason than to get the young players more practice time.  Plus, I have a strange feeling we’ll end up playing Miami in the Gasparilla Bowl, if they can eek out 1 more win.

Wonder if that was somehow because he was able to avoid being sacked.  CO was sacked 4 times which would surprise most of us, considering we all that he was very mobile.

I think JTrue pointed out the CO had like -11 yards rushing his last year of high school.

CO had terrible pocket presence

Which is surprising considering he had eight offensive plays this year...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
