How many teams are in fbs? 

I'd say take that number and subtract 10 or so from it. That's where we belong

any realistic fan has been saying this all season - that we were not top 25 material. Those who based rankings solely on records are not thinking about rankings correctly.

It was nice while it lasted though-- nice to be able to find our scores/stats pretty easily as most services give favor to any ranked team in that regard.

I'd say Houston is a quality loss, so we should move up 2 spots.

Only way we are sniffing the rankings again is by winning the conference. **** shame, with all the upsets today we would have moved up 3-4 spots ...

Aside from recognition from coaches and pollsters, rankings just don’t matter to AAC teams. Look at C., who they’ve beaten and how long their streak is. They still wont sniff the CFB playoff. So what good does their ranking do them, really? None. 

ALL that matters is a conference championship for us. We can still (in theory) get to the conference championship. If we do, and win it, then we deserve some recognition in the form of a ranking. Otherwise, we shouldn’t be ranked. It’s really not much more complicated than that.
