Man, that was the gift that kept on giving isn’t it. Sorry I lost my temper on Orlando bull..that was not cool on my part but I was pissed that he would press my buttons while we were getting our asses kicked. Again, sorry to those on the board. This team is so perplexing

I stayed to the end glad I did. I was wrong they pulled it out and showed some heart.

I would not be surprised if some folks just stopped watching in the fourth and might not even know we won. My reply to your post was meant to be a joke but it is a little more of an inside joke in my family. My dad has this habit of just turning off the TV when he gets mad that our team we are watching is getting beat badly or playing like crap. My brother and I refer to him as the Fan of the year for this--- and he does it even if there are a bunch of people sitting watching the game. He then gets up and leaves. It is weird but just something he does. Thankfully it happens only on very rare occasions. One that sticks out was when Illinois was playing UCLA in the Rose Bowl in 1984. Illinois lost 45-9 though we only saw about the first half of that game. He was right but you know-- we sort of wanted to see the game anyway. He still does it for Bear games. We've just gotten used to it.

I give up. I give up trying to predict or evaluate this team using metrics. This team seems to believe they can win any game and I don't know what to think... so I'm not thinking anymore. I don't care. I'm just going to enjoy each game individually. I do think there is something different about this team. I've never seen a team like this before. Maybe this team is the equivalent of a 'mudder' in horse racing and right now the college football landscape is about to get real muddy. A little scrappy team like this may be able to win a title. Who knows? Not me... but I'm enjoying the ride. Win or lose, I'm all in after tonight. Just remember, this same Tulsa team almost beat a 9th Ranked Texas.
