Sagarin is a more realistic ranking than either the AP Opinion  Poll or Coaches Opinion Poll, which even you called “Total Crap”.

These rankings have us at #55, and South Dakota State at #56. SDSU is 2-0 with wins over Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Montana State. Am I missing something? SDSU did beat Arkansas Pine-Bluff 90-6. Also 2-2 Texas A&M one spot ahead of 4-0 LSU is interesting.

Understand that I say that not so much as looking at teams currently ranked above us or in the top 25-- but as a general look and feel our team has so far in this season. Winning is important but overall team strengths need to be more consistent. We need BB to grow as a QB and our other areas -- like special teams and run defense/linebacker have to improve during October.

That is not to say we can achieve the ranking-- this is more about the look and feel I get from the team.

WE are right where we belong right outside the TOP 25. We just need to keep winning and the rest will take care of itself. I can see us being 25 but not above 20. The ranks mean nothing until the bowl games, but we need to win and climb. RISE AND GRIND!!

These rankings don't mean anything anyway.  The only one that matters won't be out for a few weeks.

I think a team like Syracuse deserves to be ranked.  Especially when you compare their results to a team like UCF.   Very similar.
