Notre Dame at #8 after squeaking past Ball State and Vandy the past two weeks. Jeesh! Every year. Nonsense.

Yeah ND doesn't look like number 8 team they will lose a few I think.

And FIVE Big Ten teams ranked despite how bad that league has looked the first three weeks. Michigan State stays ranked because they didn't play despite loss to Arizona State, which lost to SDSU yesterday. Michigan ranked at 2-1 thanks to great wins over powerhouses Western Michigan and SMU. Wisconsin loses at home to BYU, who already lost to Cal. There should be NO POLL until after the third or fourth week of the season. So the argument is you can't drop Wisconsin out of the poll when they started at #6? Well, you could avoid that logic if you never had them in the poll to begin with if the first poll is out after week 3 or 4.

Boise still getting respect. Not sure how I feel about that. I know the loss was to another ranked team. I want them to not be a factor if USF is in play for the NY6 bowl, but it's good to see a G5 team getting respect they (maybe?) deserve. 🤔

If we run the table we'd be above bsu. If we don't we aren't getting the ny6 anyway.

I actually wanted bsu to win. It looks very likely that ucf will get yet another ny6 bowl while we have yet to come close.

I was about to say the same thing. I'm going with it's looking likely that USF will get the ny6 bowl. 😉

I usually don't comment on these poll things, but I will on this one.

Unless I missed something, I don't see how Wisconsin can receive 626 vote points while BYU who JUST beat them has 30 vote points. Are they not both 2 and 1? That is why I hate polls.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
