Unless I missed something, I don't see how Wisconsin can receive 626 vote points while BYU who JUST beat them has 30 vote points. Are they not both 2 and 1? That is why I hate polls.

At this point, it doesn't matter much... if USF can win out, including over an undefeated UCF,  USF will go to the NY6 bowl... beating an undefeated UCF will be better than any win from a MWC or BYU team.

And you are correct it is only one that matters

Week 8 stood out to me but I couldn't remember if they released before or after those games. 

Edit: it is after week 9. They announced the first rankings will be released on Oct. 30

 

So........ Polls don't matter until Oct. 30th. 

And thats my final stance.
