Just an FYI, CCS said at the Bulls Rally on Sunday that the new guy has some wheels for a big guy.

I saw that during the online interviews. They all seemed surprised. I have heard that Blake is like Grothe in that regard. If this is true watch out!

Having some wheels is one thing. Being anything like Grothe is a whole other level, IMO.

Grothe's magic, like Q's, wasn't really in his wheels but in his elusiveness ...... and there's no way a guy that big can be that elusive .... I don't think.

I mean....wheels? He has mobility for sure, but I didn't see amazing breakaway speed or elusiveness. Hopefully our run game is solid, the O-line can max protect, and whoever our QB is doesn't have to run for his life that often.

To his credit though, he did come into the bowl game after Matt went down and played well enough...but yeah these new guys will have to get it done in a game first.

Also remember how the team didn't score a single point in the second half.....

Disagree....I mean the man is 6'-5".  Appeared mobile for that height.  He ran like a QB that's a few inches shorter, IMO.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
