Hold on - in fairness to TDS and Joey. I am not a reporter, I just googled NCAA eligibility. So, what I did may or may not apply to this particular situation. I have no source or knowledge. I just asked myself the question, "what situation would the NCAA suspend an athlete for 4 games for an academic violation." Looked up the answer, then shared on here.

At this point, it seems like Bond had it completely correct and held firm despite JK and others. Kudos to Nathan for staying the course and not even bothering to respond until he released the entire timeline and story. The Twitter universe and comment sections have been all over him and TDS this morning/afternoon. 

Can we change the title of this thread back?

Heard this whole grade thing is basically "broke foot 2.0".  CCS has a much more refined approach to this kind of favoritism.  Kudos for the old man for doing this digitally.

I really have no idea what I'm talking about but could it be a grade forgiveness type thing? Fail a class and make it up the next semester plus take an extra class in that next semester?

I remember being able to do this, but I can't remeber if this was a school or bright futures thing or something else.

Even if it is no game suspension CCS did the right thing in bringing in Blake. No need to take any chances.
