Can we just hire Derrick Brooks? He co-founded a highschool that has a 100% graduation rate, co-owned and was the president of an Arena league football team, was on FSU 2003 Board of Trustees, served as an appeals officer for the NFL and NFL players association, Hall of Fame athlete, and most of all, professional philanthropist who should be able to raise the money we need. His post football accomplishments are great in addition to having a famous name that will attract donors.

Do not see how Judy would feel Brooks would be like LRS....Brooks has much more administration experience than when LRS started for us. God I hope she does not blow this. I wish she would just stick to academics.

Judy may have a say but I'm pretty sure she can't/won't make this decision herself.  The Board of Trustees seems to be the driving force behind firing people in Athletics so I guess they have a pretty big say in hiring people.
