Hope many more return, too. Go Bulls! We always buy season tix. Didn't get to very many games this year though, maybe 5 or 6. Just a strange year and had my mom in her end stages. Other than CBM's introduction press conference we haven't had time to meet him yet. As of now all of our legacy $$$$ are going to baseball. Hopefully next year we can get things back together, meet him and get to more games. I love baseball but the pace of the game usually prevents us from staying for the whole thing. I grew up in an era when an average game lasted like 2 hours and 15 minutes. Now two hours in and your in the top of the 6th.

Means someone got him to agree to below slot money. Good for both sides. He gets a little more than he would have had someone else taken him in a later round, Sox can put those saved $$$ to work on one of their other picks. Haven't seen anything on Villar, but he's not getting more than that. I was unaware, but anything over $125,000 on day 3 counts against your overall draft pool money. I'll admit it when I was wrong, and somehow I was wrong about Joe G. Can't believe he didn't get drafted with the numbers he put up. He's easily worth a flier on Day 3 but I guess the agents didn't see it that way. Helps our lineup tremendously. For what its worth I can't believe Duke didn't get drafted either. All he did was hit .340 and .330 in back to back seasons and play a very good CF. Really all of our 50/50 guys weren't drafted so the lineup will look similar to this past season. Coco was really the only shock with how high he was drafted. I thought he'd be more of a 50/50 guy but wen't way higher than I thought he would. Congrats to him and the other 3 drafted players, along with Pete signing as a Free Agent. It could be that Joe G cost himself a shot at being drafted, but it certainly helps us going into next season! Go Bulls!
