What are your top 5 wishes/dreams for USF Athletics?

At very minimum, it would be nice if we could finally win a “must win” game in any sport.  Seems like we can have fantastic seasons with big wins, but we always choke when everything is on the line.

That depends. As a university you are correct, but the thread is about Athletics, whose endowment is a big chunk of the Universities endowment, but not all of it. I would guess, the current athletic endowment to be around $100 million (that is just a guess).

2. Growing athletic event attendance and Tampa Bay area impact

3. P5 Conference

4. Adding more Olympic sports (i.e Swimming/Diving, Gymnastics, etc.)

5. IPF/OCS announcements being fulfilled

1. A fiscal surplus

2. A respected, consistent brand

3. Local support

4. Tighter coordination with the broader university (ie. End the greek week conflicts, etc)

5. Staff consistency, including sales/relationship managers

 

As you see I have a bias for a sound, sustainable strategy vs specific wins/buildings

I should have included #4 it is increasingly important

1. Go undefeated in 2018 and start 2019 ranked in the top 15.

2. Go undefeated 2019 and become the firsr G6 team 2 crash the playoffs. Also win or play comoetitively

3. Best Texas in 2020

4. Go undefeated in both of our 2 for 1 series

5. Get picked up by the ACC after FSU bolts to the SEC 

6. Win National title in 2022

This is my list exactly, well done. This list basically is a perfect list of important milestones for USF to achieve.
