Not me... Matt Floyd should not have been offered out of high school.  At the time there were people scratching their heads because there were quite a few other prospects who were available.   From the time I saw him in the first spring game I felt like he was garbage.  He just had a strong arm, but the lights were never on upstairs.   That was simply terrible recruiting.

Nonesense, Matt Floyd would be the perfect dual-threat quarterback for the CCS offense: if the play doesn't breakdown and there's no opportunity to throw a pick, he can run poorly and give away the ball on a fumble. That makes him well-suited to run the HB dive 65 times per game.

I'm assuming anyone still making jokes about the hb dive being the key to our offense is totally being sarcastic ...

Yes, this was my "Captain Obvious" post of the day.

...assuming he doesn't fumble that snap

Every Quarterback is Matt Floyd until they show me something in a game.

Better to be thought a bad quarterback and sit than play and remove all doubt.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
