Quinton Flowers, QB, South Florida Height: 5-11. Weight: 210. Projected 40 Time: 4.60. Projected Round (2018): 7-FA. 1/22/18: Flowers completed 53 percent of his passes in 2017 for 2,911 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also notched 11 rushing touchdowns. Flowers participated at the East-West Shrine and was unimpressive. Some general managers feel that Flowers should move to defensive back to try to compete in the NFL. No idea how legit Walter Football is, but saying he participated isn't the same as saying he played in the game. That's a red flag for NFL scouts.

I do think he will get drafted in the 7th round. If not, the CFL will be there for him. As for Walter Football, they are a low-budget site that I am aware of, but not having Deadrin Senat ranked in the top 20 of its DT rankings tells me all I need to know about the publication. Most sites have him ranked as the 10th to 15th best DT, which would likely see him drafted in the third to fifth round.

The rankings and write up are not really a surprise. He's seen as undersized and not really a pro style pocket passer. He will just have to prove them wrong as he has proven skeptics wrong in the past.

The taller pocket-passers will always be higher on the list.

He is definitely athletic enough to make the NFL
