First you will be amazed the senior QB's ranked above Flowers,  but read his bio for 2017 below on participating in Shine game....

SouthFlorida_logo.gif Quinton Flowers, QB, South Florida
Height: 5-11. Weight: 210.
Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
Projected Round (2018): 7-FA.

1/22/18: Flowers completed 53 percent of his passes in 2017 for 2,911 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also notched 11 rushing touchdowns. Flowers participated at the East-West Shrine and was unimpressive. Some general managers feel that Flowers should move to defensive back to try to compete in the NFL.

I thought I read he was there for practice all week when 90% of the evaluation is actually being done. No idea how legit Walter Football is, but saying he participated isn't the same as saying he played in the game.

And If I recall, he did have some issues taking a snap under center. That's a red flag for NFL scouts.

I can't comment on Flowers' performance in practice. I do think he will get drafted in the 7th round. If not, the CFL will be there for him.

As for Walter Football, they are a low-budget site that I am aware of, but not having Deadrin Senat ranked in the top 20 of its DT rankings tells me all I need to know about the publication. Most sites have him ranked as the 10th to 15th best DT, which would likely see him drafted in the third to fifth round.

He was there for most of the week and they are evaluating.  The rankings and write up are not really a surprise.  He's seen as undersized and not really a pro style pocket passer.  He will just have to prove them wrong as he has proven skeptics wrong in the past.

Same ol' arguments, nothing new. The taller pocket-passers will always be higher on the list.

Q will not make it as a QB in the NFL. He needs to play another position.

I think its a pretty safe assumption..    Q has the it factor but he is just not an accurate passer. He is definitely athletic enough to make the NFL
