Coaching Dominoes Are Starting To Fall

All kidding aside about Willie.  One of his best talents is building a culture and psychologically connecting with his team and recruits.  Recruiting is a huge part of college football no doubt and Xs and Os are important, but being able to motivate 18-22 year old kids to play with emotion and 100% effort is talent.

Look at FSU this year.  All the talent in the world and Fisher lost his team.  Last year he made the players sign a document saying they would give 100% effort.  Wtf?!?  

Look at our own xCJL...he was a master motivator and routinely had the Bulls ready to take on the world.  His motivational talents and ability to get more out of his players was a big reason we had so much early success.  Like all coaches he had a few klunkers along the way.  I believe he even had a degree in psychology.  

I've heard people talk about Saban and they say what separates him from other coaches is his ability to keep his players focused and giving maximal effort each and every game.  That is a talent and that is what people see in Taggart.

Time will tell how Willie does on the big stage but I'm pulling for him.
