UCF? No? Tough yes. But they will have a new coaching staff and losing some good seniors, no way they are the same team next year. We all saw first hand this year what happens under new coaches. We were slow this year. Maybe Polk and Kierston come back next year. Sawtelle is too slow. DBs: We have lots of young DBs waiting to get their chance. DTs - Kevin Bronson plus Freshmen that played this year. I think it is a question mark. DE: Still have Brown and Black at the ends plus Reaves and Livingstone. Plus new recruits. QB: Dont know how good Chris or Brett are at this point. Hopefully a good run game will help. WRs: Salomon, Mccants, Not sure about Antoine yet, Bronson was a lesser version of Scantling so I dont expect much from him. Does Clerveaux finally break the depth chart. I really think Salomon is going to grow into a beast next year like Andre Davis. Zion Roland is question mark. We could use a good return guy somewhere. It seems like Strong worries more about fumbles than explosive returners. RB We dont really know what we have at running back yet. Cronkite then ???? We dont know if Sands can be that 2nd guy and certainly our new QB will not run nearly as much. Certainly Depth is an issue. OL: Return: Attebury, Norman, and Mayes. Enter? Hopefully we can develop more physically to run the ball against run stout defenses. It killed us this year but also could be because Q could not make certain throws. On paper it looks okay but like the great philisopher Mike Tyson said "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth"

With Cronkite/Sands, the other recievers, tight ends, and lower expectations (less pressure), I just dont see us not contending for the AAC next year. Im at peace with this season. Knock out our bowl game, have an awesome spring practice and kick ass next year.

I’ll buy Houston but Temple will be beatable (assuming the game is early) as will Tulsa.

They both were pretty solid recruits. I think being in the 2nd year with the coaching staff will really help. This year there was a learning curve. I think there may be more competitive games next year, but we still make it to some bowl game.
