I  believe the Illinois game is at Soldier's Field in Chicago. That's what it says on the Illinois schedule.

No longer...it was moved back to their campus last month.

Well that sucks. How far is their campus from Chicago?

Can't wait to see how everything shakes out with spring ball. QB, OL, and LB are the positions I'm most concerned about. We have tons of DB depth and I think the Duke transfers solidify the DLine. WR depth is great on paper and Cronkite, Mack, and Sands at RB should be enough.

About 3-4 hours, it's basically in the middle of the state. I lived about an hour south of Champaigne in a little town called Charleston.

I get wanting to see Chi Town (and it is great) but I am glad the game is back on campus. I would like to see another university's campus and I really don't want to see another boring NFL stadium.

I thought the move back to Campus ended up being a false report?

Still at Soldier field as far as I know.

That was not my understanding. I never heard it was a false report.

Looking forward to the bowl but I am also looking forward to next season.

I don't see the doom and gloom that many predict for next year. We again have a weak schedule which has been pointed out.

If you go back a few years, many on this board questioned whether Flowers had it in him and could he really play QB? Now we can't suddenly win a game without him? I have heard really good things about Oladokun and his HS film looks like he can make some throws.

If we sign McCloud and Battle, there are 2 more QB's who currently have their HS teams' deep into the playoffs.

Do you have any source for the move then? The only thing I ever heard about it leaving Solider field was from TDS guys and I'm pretty sure Collin came out and said his source was at least premature if not wrong.

Although seeing their ocs would be kind of cool, I'm perfectly fine trading that for a couple of days in Chicago ...

FWIW, Illinois website still has game at Soldier Field

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
