U Conn had trouble beating - and at various points was losing to - a team that only recently started offering football scholarships.

It may be a lot like our first two games ... ugly and not a lot of fun to watch ... but USF will win next week.

I'm pretty sure their board is saying we barely beat an FCS team that won't even finish .500 this year.

 Actually, their board is saying how lucky they were to beat Holy Cross.

I'll guarantee a win,
1.) SB is a stronger team than HC.

2.) USF is a stronger team than UConn

3.) Vanilla offense almost burns us but it didnt

4.) Overthrown balls almost burn us but it didnt

5.) Not making excuses but rain does kill a team built on speed and Bucs were complaining about the poor drainage as well

6.) This is more of an opinion but I'm guessing that, at least right now, this teams mentality will cause them to play up or down to the competition

7.) Hype has gotten in their heads, all this talk of NY day bowl and undefeated season is counter-productive

Most of these are correctable, and I think CCS will make those corrections. We'll be fine. While I do agree that we could have an undefeated season, I would say the odds are 1 in 4 that it actually happens. We can want it to happen all we want but the odds are that we lose at least one somewhere along the way. In face prior to the season the o/u on wins was 10 meaning vegas assumed we'd lose 1 or 2 as well. I'm not happy with the mental lapses/lack of execution any more than you are but we are still 2-0. BTW, we still scored more than 30 pts which puts the streak of scoring more than 30 @ 19, longest streak in the country.

someone should send this video of that to CCS to show to the team. Perhaps, that would focus their attention on what would happen again.
