We are heading to a point where there will be more coaches and staff than combined players.

If making the NCAA Tourney is "success," this is probably the exact opposite.

Oh, wait, there might be some kind of NCAA sanction... JOY!!!

Saw a report where Chad Dollar is a candidate to possibly join Coach Gregory's staff. Imo that would be a outstanding hire as well seeing as he played at USF and had enjoyed success as an asst coach at numerous stops including at GT with Coach Gregory. He's currently on Bruce Pearl's staff at UT. Throw some good (dollars) at this man and bring him back home.

I'm told another @USFMBB assistant could be announced as early as today. 2 names I keep hearing: Jon Borovich, Chad Dollar. We'll see.

Saw this. Unsure as to the degree of success, mediocre Auburn team and GT was underwhelming. I will say this, he would come with experience and a fine body of work behind him to be respectable at least. His relationship with Coach Gregory, as they have worked together in he past, does bring one to feel a degree of stability within the staff doesn't it?

Second Samuel 6:12-16—David "danced before the Lord" to celebrate the Ark of the Covenant being brought back to Jerusalem.

I heard there was a sacred board, where David danced and pleased the Lord, but you don't really make the tourney do you?

To rebuild this program, there are two key areas of recruiting: Florida and non-US recruiting.

With the latter, we need pure shooters, especially a 3-point expert.

Whenever we've gone away from the inability to have points from the outside, we've done terribly (so, yes, for most of our program's history!).

I do like how our new coach is thinking. He's brought in two young assistant coaches who focus on Florida athletes. Now, we need someone who will oversea (pun intended) the other areas.

****, great minds .... was just thinking about this last night. The 3 jerseys we have hanging in the rafters represent Tampa, Orlando and Yugoslavia. Maybe CJF can point them in the right direction.

Like that he had some HC experience, but other than that I can't say I'm all that excited about this one. Since the other 2 asst's seem strong, I'll trust CBG's judgment on the choice.

Herrion is the best of the 3 assistants by a wide margin IMO.  He was Jamie Dixon's Associate HC at Pitt when they were one of the best teams in the country and recruited 3 top 10 classes at UVA.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
