Okay, I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by how the new staff has been able to recruit. Very impressive.

We haven't seen this kind of action since Seth ran the program, and in a short period of time, too.

Let's break .500 next season!

Hope we get plenty of depth. Good starters is outstanding, good bench makes the difference down the stretch.

We've never seen this kind of action because we've never had 9 scholarships to give at this time of year before, to my knowledge ... even COA had only 6 to find homes for when he came in, filling only 4. If CBG gets all 9 filled before practices start in the fall, it will pretty much be unprecedented in USF hoops history, assuming my feeble memory is correct. Nobody knows how all these pieces will fit on the court but I think he would have done the absolute best he could have under these murky circumstances.

In addition, CBG, it seems, has been making an unprecedented number of offers already for next year's class. It's nearly impossible to keep up with all of them. LOL

I am all in for next year. I am treatin this mentally like an expansion pro team. We will get bashed on most occasions but will get a little better as the season goes on. The fact that we got almost the full  allotment of scholarship players (finally!!!) is a plus. Like everyone else I hope the individual parts gel as a unit.

Yup, I'm cautiously optimistic. I hope all players make it on campus. Once here, it's up to staff to make them gel.
