What am I missing? Isn't that the year he went 8-10 in the ACC & was tied for 11th place? His record at Georgia Tech was terrible. Best finish was 9th in the ACC. As most things, time will tell. But, seems like a lame hire to me.

Would love to know the real scoop on any Dambrot/USF contact ...

Former USF target Keith Dambrot headed to Duquesne

I'm guessing it was the allure of scenic Pittsburgh ........ and the guaranteed $7 million.

I mean, at this point if he tallied 8 wins total it would be a step in the right direction. Not speaking to Coach K's point but still.

 

I am more interested in seeing how he recruits Florida. He did an ok job in Georgia but there are more schools here vying for those players already.

I'm surprised that Duquesne has that much scratch to throw at a coach--wow.

USF Men's Basketball team just got thinner and so did the effort required to rebuild by the coaching staff.  Ugh.
