I will try to go. Wife has never been to San Jose, and I've been once (to meet with General Electric's Nuclear folks), about 25 years ago. Loved the area, and thought of moving there...till I saw the cost of living.

We are seriously considering going there for the game and staying over a few days to enjoy New Orleans.

We will likely drive. It is about 650 miles, which is about 50 miles further than we drove to Birmingham.

We would consider going with another couple who could share the driving and possibly a hotel room.

Since we are both smokers, it would be better if that couple was as well.
