1.7 million to 3.2 million per year, good reasons.

HOWEVER.

He lost me last year, when he interviewed at South Carolina.

Yeah, he left USF better than he found it. Not may coaches have done that. And he was paid for it.

Done.

Time to move on.

I think some hold their football coaches to a higher standard than they have for themselves ... which is, honestly, kind understandable because being a fan is a pretty emotional investment.

Didn't seem like life changing money to me. 

I'm kind of surprised/happy he went for pretty cheap, considering the risk of highly influential donors and expectations he's never experienced as an HC.

And he'll pay about 10% of that in state income taxes...
