Next coach?

[Bull-Hornz]

Les Miles is a defense minded coach who would have some name recognition. If he is able to bring in a Scott etc to help with the FL recruiting I would like this hire.

not saying Miles might not be the answer but we are an offensive focused team. all the talent is on that side of the ball. we win by outscoring teams. going with a defensive minded (ie more conservative coach0 would really hurt us i think.

Not sure what you are asking...but if your suggesting his record is indicative or merits a the HC job at USF I thing you are selling the program short IMHO.

I think Miles knows how to win. He def ran a pro style offense but he always struck me as a capable coach. I also think traditionally speaking USF has been successful in recruiting good defensive teams. CJL knew that the spread and speed on O played to our advantage. CSH and CWT (first two years) did not understand this. I would hope whomever comes in takes this lesson. If not Harlan better lay the smack down.
