That's nice. The soccer teams deserve an indoor/covered facility too.

I mean they probably needed it more than we did. Besides it's not like Tampa is the lightning capital of North America or anything....

I would suspect it's on the next list... but it wasn't a top priority when building new facilities the last time around.  Clearly it has not been that big of a deal to move practices around.

And I would also think that any such facility would be for multiple sports (football, soccer, etc).

You'd be surprised how close the Mobile and Pensacola area is to Tampa.  Tampa still wins, but this area still top 5 based on some of the recent maps.

I was thinking the same about the OCS. FAU (2001), and FIU (2002) are both newer programs than we are, have had less success, yet each has an OCS. FAU I believe is in the process of getting an IPF as well, mainly due to a $16 million donation  iirc. Was there ever a serious push during the program's heyday for an OCS?

Ipf if we must go there, but I don't think this will happen anytime soon.

I lived in Pensacola for 5 years. Not even close.

(This is based on zero scientific fact.)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
