Butch Davis to FIU

This is probably a one or two year gig for him, like Petrino at WKU. If we manage to win the AAC next year, and Taggart bolts, would anybody here be interested in Davis? I'm hoping Taggart doesn't bolt, as I think he is probably a better fit here, but in case he does,  Davis may get a  look. He cleaned up Miami's program iirc, but did the opposite at NC.

Um good question. My short answer is no. It's no because he hasn't coach since nc. They fired him and that's not saying much. I think my grandma  Bessie could of coached those Miami teams and prevailed.

Honestly, if CWT were to leave after next season, considering the season goes as expected, I think we would be able to pull someone in better than Butch at this point in his career.
