I think the coaches got in QF's ear at halftime about pulling it down and running more, and it worked as he had some key runs in the 2nd half. Sometimes I feel like he tries to prove that he's a good passer and forces things, when he should just rely on his strengths. Besides, as far as a runner, I trust him more than anyone on our team to not cough the ball up.

Go Bulls!

We ran for 316yds against the #11 run defense in the country. We were our own enemy tonight and still won going away (UConn scored a garbage TD against our second team D). This offense is legit and put up 42 while constantly shooting ourself in the foot.

Gotta say I love seeing Solomon getting involved, but the Jets sweep to Rodney seems to be archaic

Our weakness.

I think a lot of QF problems with intermediate passing is his footwork. He's an amazing athlete, but his footwork and mechanics aren't the best. Not complaining, just pointing out that if he can work on that, the sky's the limit.

Interesting that we didn't run the "wishbone" formation once tonight. Anyone could go back and watch last years film and see that was our most successful formation. Not saying we should've, just interesting. Also, QF really needs to make that throw outside if he's going to throw into single coverage with the safety looming. Looked like a replay of FSU pick

Amazing that we can score 42 against #11 run defense and still leave so many dammned points on the field. We SHOULD HAVE score 84 today

But I'll take it.

4 turnovers! We would have scored 55-10 if we didn't have so many. I don't see how you complain about the offense.

QF needs to work on setting his feet when he's throwing. His footwork needs work. He's an amazing athlete and will be so much better if he can improve his footwork and intermediate passing game.

Frustating, but it was what UConn was giving us all night.  We scored 42 and had 4 turnovers.  Not bad.  UConn didn't turn the ball over at all.  Willie is doing OK.
