Attendance Prediction for UCONN game

Can't come back in town for this one but my four seats will have fannies in them. 35/22 my guess.

I'll be there just like I have been for all the others so far. Only game I'll miss is sadly the Navy game as I'll be out of town but I already gave my tickets to a Bulls fan so my seats will not go empty for that one.

Got 7 more coming in from out of town.

Talked to a couple of commuter students who rarely go to games and they are going (I give them so much crap when they don't go to games).

So that's 9 more than last week anyway.

If we make an issue of attendance like we should and have done this week, it should definitely get fixed for this Saturday. But the bigger issue here is that this needs to be something that goes much further beyond one game. We had a great student turn out for NIU, and FSU but that goes without saying, and then it tanked. We get a good turnout for UCONN, and then what happens after that?

Part of the reason why it tanked is that the incentive of getting your FSU tickets early was no longer there, so the need to go was not as urgent. I know when I was an undergrad the Athletics Dept had a point structure that students would earn for going to certain Athletic events, which gave the student some sort of reward for having a ___ # of points earned for that school year (Fall to Spring). Whether or not they kept that system I do not know, but it would definitely help to create some increased interest for those students who are diehards.
