QF throws a good ball when he sets his feet and steps into the throw, Unfortunately, he doesn't do that enough.

His passing has gotten better the last few games.

Love how he plows over people on occasion.  Seems rugged and tough and also has ice running through his veins.  He gives our team an identity.  Best pass today was over the middle to Wilcox; which he dropped in over a leaping Ecu linebacker.

Probably forced the ball that would lead to an INT.

I'm a BJD fan, don't get me wrong. He was one of the reasons we won as many games as we did at the time.  But his decision making skills was his biggest flaw.

What I meant to say is I think he would have been better. I don't think the coaching staff used him/groomed him properly. I think the large majority of what he did while at USF was primarily on athletic ability.

I mean you're right, and one could look at the UF game and see a kid who was athletically gifted but forced to try too hard. I think if BJ was surrounded by better talent (like having a legit group of receivers like we have now and 3 RBs who could all start for FBS teams) he wouldn't have been forced to make a lot of the bad decisions he made.

That seems to me to be a recent development - last 2 games or so.  Many times in the past he seemed to be heading to the ground when contact was imminent.  He now seems to be fighting for those extra yards and delivering blows to the defender.

Just because this was just so much darn fun following this last year, Q ended up with a 54.4 QBR last last year, good for 76th in the country. This year he's at 73.8 and 21. Lot of football left but it's good to see that he's upped his game according to those D&D type statistics ....

Well he just leveled up to Dad so he gets

+3 Speed

+5 Wisdom

+4 Charisma

He should be able to help us slay some serious Dragons from here on out.

I do appreciate his contribution to this team.  I also cringe every time he does a bull dozer run lowering his shoulders into a DB as he grasps for every yard.  I enjoy watching him run the ball and having that arsenal when needed.

Yeah I don't like him taking those big hits..let the receivers and backs do that.
