I love that he'll go out and block for his RBs after he hands off the ball

Excellent point. On the last touchdown he blocked #31 for ECU starting at the 6 and ending in the end zone.

Yeah I don't like him taking those big hits..let the receivers and backs do that.

That's just it, though.  He's not taking hits.  He's delivering them.  There was one run out to the edge on Sat. where after he crossed the first down marker he lowered his shoulder and leveled a DB as he went down.

I haven't really seen him do that so much to LBs, which shows his intelligence.  He normally goes down right before making contact when running up the middle.  Much rather him take on a DB rather than an LB.

Yes rather it be a DB than LB but still we don't need Flowers getting injured..just takes one weird hit to knock him out a game or worse.

Agree ..... QF is no PJ. Still probably the best lick I've ever seen a qb lay on someone trying to tackle him.

Can't argue that.  It is worth pointing out that I believe he was recruited by some schools as a potential safety, I believe.  I'd say he knows what he's doing.

I wonder what BJ would have been like in this situation. Not that I disagree with you. But I think BJ would have been just that much better.

This is true; a shame that BJ played under CSH.

I'm sure he does...he probably is also only going after the smaller DB also.

I don't like the attempt to run over defenders by our QB. However, like Bourbon noted this is a recent thing. I think CWT getting on his back about several runs ending just short of a first down has been taken to heart.
