Did anyone else think he left some throws on the field? I was at the game and some of his incompletions were to wide open receivers and off target. Yes I realize I'm nit-picking. Also could be the booze interfering with my memory.

I think we should have spent the entire fourth quarter on 5-8 yard passes. Seemed to be putting those at receivers feet all night!

Numbers were good because of the deep passes which is great. Against better competition the intermediate throws are going to be critical.

I am a huge QF fan.  I am and always have been on team Quinton.

That being said, he really did struggle with the short passes last night.  It is nit picking but a concern for when the competition gets better.

I think if he puts it all together last night we hang at least 60 on them.

QF made great progress from Week 1. Hopefully short passes continue to get better next week. He is still just a junior so I think he is doing great.  I am enjoying his game a lot!

He missed more than three or four passes. Close to 10 passes were terrible IMO.

this

Passes thrown at receivers feet.  he can throw long bombs and flare passes.  that will not work against good teams.

He had a 94 QBR last night.

For the season he is the #8 ranked raw QBR and #24 Total QBR.

I say at least 70 lol. But I agree his deep ball has really improved when he focuses on the footwork and sets up. That short ball though is a mess. I think he is trying not to overthrow the ball and instead bouncing it in the turf.

Still happy with the progression, but this week clear what needs addressing.

This. Q showed some throws we are going to need against a better opponent in week 2. I really believe he needs game time to get into rhythm (maybe nerves and getting to jacked up). I expect him to be even better against Cuse. One thing that is clear is that he has better weapons this year and I think he can have a record setting year.

I almost put 70.  Our WRs were open for days.

Pretty sure CWT mentioned throwing balls into the dirt in the post game interview and penalties as areas where we need to improve. Love to hear that from him.
