Games that would've been bigger

2014 National Title game

2014 Playoff semifinal

2015 Semifinal

ACC Title game during the title run

ACC title game during the playoff run

UF game during the title run

Clemson game during the title run (this was huuugely hyped nationally)

Clemson game during the semi run another hugely hyped game

UF during the semifinals {again biggest rival with a playoff spot on the line)

You're welcome.....

Don't they play UM every year, also?

Using Houston's bowl win over FSU to somehow justify that they will romp over us if we face them in the AACCG is one of the most convoluted things I've seen in a while.

There are several more games that would be bigger as well. A top 5 Notre Dame squad played at Doak during the year FSU lost to Oregon in the semis...

Sometimes you just have to laugh. I agree with you

If we meet Houston and they beat us down, it won't because they beat team in a bowl game almost a year prior.

Just checking to make sure you know this latest part of the conversation is based on someone saying that Houston will romp us if we both get to the AACCG, not our FSU game.

I wouldn't be shocked if FSU lights us up, I'd be surprised if Houston does.

No way that happens ..... USF>UConn>Houston>FSU.

Bet the house on USF over FSU ....... just not your house.

That isn't what I said. I said Houston was a better team than FSU. Which was proven. Therefore I believe Houston will be a tougher game (if we make it to the CCG) than FSU considering the important pieces they have returning, and the uncertainty that FSU has at the QB position. I don't know if anybody noticed, but they still haven't figured that mess out yet. It really isn't that far fetched of a statement. You guys are acting like I am saying UCF will win a game here. I think I'm making perfect sense

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
