Well atleast we are getting him on campus still I guess. I feel like we have a better shot at Marvin Wilson than Judson personally but I've been wrong when trying to figure out what goes on in 18 year old kids minds before.

My guess is he sees the trouble xCWT is already in and stays close to home. I can see him being a better Lindsay Lamar for USF.

I wish someone could come up with an algorithm that you can plug in the number of TBP pages dedicated to a player, the number of tweets he makes waffling back and forth and his actual impact as a football player.

It seems that the higher those things go, the lower the impact.  See Ironside, Woulard and Bayes.

If Judson is planning on attending UO I feel like calling out his future teammates, essentially calling them out-of-shape and lazy, probably isn't the best move.

You may be operating on the assumption he's a bright dude.  A review of his Tweets indicates that's possibly a poor assumption.  He loves attention, and he better be VERY good for some team to have to put up with his antics.

I'd take that trade!

Jury is still out on Bayes, but his biggest contribution may wind up being recruiter.  He was awesome back in the tough times in committing early, and helping hype the class, and I think he had influence on getting D'Ernest Johnson & Jaymon Thomas to commit...and they are certainly making an impact.

I think Bayes will be a RS Jr, so he still has time to contribute on the field...but the clock's ticking, dude.

He also didn't waffle so the algorithm may still be in his favor.

Not steal Judsons thunder but Strong possibility of moving back to a 4-3 alignment bodes well for Bayes who I would love to succeed. Matt Floyd was also a strong cheerleader just did not have the tools for the college game.

Your post prompted me to check out Floyd's career stats and they are scary bad:

Passing: 85 for 174 (48.9%) for 802 yard (4.6 ypa) 0 TD 10 INTs 13 Sacks

Rushing: 33 carries -71 yards -2.15 ypc

He was either sacked or threw an interception in 12.3% (essentially 1 out of every 8) of his drop-backs.

Nice kid, but his skills didn't translate to the college game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
