I believe he was a 5 star at one point. No idea why he has fallen of, could be because the "name" schools have cooled on him, but I have no idea. 

As for why today, he was tweeting out some stuff ( I was shown some screen shots) showing the love from USF, and loving the attention...in  a big way.

Ok thanks, I just hadn't seen anything saying that he was commiting today so I wasn't sure.

He's a teenager. It's a big deal if he commits to a menu item at McDonald's and doesn't change his mind before he pays.
