Your post prompted me to check out Floyd's career stats and they are scary bad:

Passing: 85 for 174 (48.9%) for 802 yard (4.6 ypa) 0 TD 10 INTs 13 Sacks

Rushing: 33 carries -71 yards -2.15 ypc

He was either sacked or threw an interception in 12.3% (essentially 1 out of every 8) of his drop-backs.

Nice kid, but his skills didn't translate to the college game.

What's funny is, Floyd was offered a scholarship by Strong while he was at Louisville.

Floyd was a heck of a high school prospect. Good measurables, good stats, excellent grades (he graduated from USF with 2 years of eligibility remaining), overall great kid, just never came close to panning out.

Who knows own if that was a commit able offer though. Miami/fsu/UF offer a million recruits each year. That doesn't necessarily mean they'd take a commitment from him.

I'd like to hear more about schools lying to thousands of hs kids each year.

Only you're just throwing things at the wall because you hate the player in this case.

How do you figure that? That sounded like a pretty salty comeback. You mad or something?

Give me even a shred of a hint of a rumor that his offer from Louisville wasn't legit and I'll take it back.

You see its simple, really. Louisville took 1 QB commitment in 2011 and that QB committed to them late December of 2010, 10 weeks before signing day. Louisville didn't think they had a shot at getting him until Randy Shannon's got canned. That QB was Teddy Bridgewater. So if their plan was to take 1 QB in the class, which it was, you obviously take the most talented prospect you can get which was obviously Bridgewater.

What part of that do you not understand?
