They beat Auburn for the National Championship a year before last or the year before that. I watched that championship match online. Yes. USF is the Alabama of American cricket. OK guys fine you get one. Cricket is composed of innings which is divided into overs. Each over has 6 balls. Each team bats until they complete all of the overs in their innings or they get all 10 of their batters out. The second team is chasing the score set by the team that bats first. You can score between 1 and 6 runs off each ball, based on how many times you run down the pitch. You can score 4 or 6 runs if you hit the ball past the boundary (4 if on the ground, six if it clears the boundary without touching the ground). Thanks. Will have to spend some time reading up on it but appreciate you taking the time to explain.

Did I get that right? If I heard right, USF is the first school with multiple national championships.

But the correct terminology is that USF won by 7 wickets as they were chasing. You can only win by runs if you bat first. And I believe that's correct USF is the first two time champion. Only one school actually offers cricket as an NCAA sport, haverford college near Philadelphia. The rest are club teams.

I'm trying to decide wether I'm drinking for a celebration or just because it's Sunday. Either way, Go Bulls!!

That is all. That seems a little snippy. Yes, maybe a billion people play, but that's because it's the most popular sport in India (second most populated country in the world at 1.2 billion people) and Pakistan (200 million people). You're sort of glossing over the fact that it is the second most popular sport in basically every other British (or former British) territory. So it has a VERY large following all over the Caribbean, Africa, Australia, etc.
