AAC is strong now, but for how long?  The game is rigged.  When pee 5 schools are getting 20 million annually or more for TV, and the AAC schools are  getting 2 million, how long can we keep up?  And

Like many on here I am not a fan of DW, but to say our mindset had anything to do with us getting left out of realignment is pure fantasy, fallacy, or another other similar synonym.

Lots of negative views of Strong.  Most people seem to think he will be gone pretty soon. Why make a commitment to a lost regime?

Same could be said about Allen, Hope and Co. who came in last winter and have been instrumental in the turn around here at USF. Good for Tulsa in holding onto their OC though.

sorry, never going to happen and the chances of us getting the opportunity to play the FSU's of the world is declining.  Big 12 just made another mandate this week about scheduling P5 teams for OOC games.  The playoff committee again this year emphasized SoS as one of the most important elements in their selection process.  Notre Dame's and Auburn's aren't going to be scheduling G5's any more.  

Notre Dame will schedule the Service academies every year until those institutions close up shop, which will be never.  So unless there is a secret plan to move Army, Navy and Air Force to P5 conferences, then Notre Dam will have G5 teams on their schedule.

Every P5 conference considers games against the Service Academies to count as P5 games.
