He finally had 1 good game, against a team not in the FCS. Don't get too excited.

QF plays better if we can run well.. Bench is just a better passer.

The stats don't back up that Bench is a better passer.  QF is completing over 60 percent of his passes with 8 TD's and 4 INT's.

No one is overly excited, we just see solid progress and reason for optimism in QF's play.

You cant really say that. The issue with just looking at cmp percentage is that a large percent of QF "passes" are not beyond the line of scrimmage. If SB was asked to make the throws that QF does his cmp percentage would no doubt be above 60 percent.

Yes, you can say that the stats don't back up that Bench is a better passer .... because they don't.

The real question should be how does he compare to matt and can he every develop to compete stat wise against matt.

And yet Bench was a 40% passer 2 years ago and a 49% passer last year.  In limited opps this year, his completion percentage is approximately the same as QF's.

Again, the stats do not back up that Bench is a better passer.  His throws may look prettier, but statistically he is not better.

Plus, he far less mobile that QF.

I have spent enough explaining why this is an illogical conclusion but you guys dont want to listen, so keep living in the world were QF is a better passer than SB...

Every QB should play better with a good running game. It's the passing without the running game that is the tricky part.

If Cuse could stop a WR screen to save their lives then they might have won the game. Also, QF would not have looked as good. He's still missing wide open receivers on downfield throws.
