Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Our laughing stopped about year 2.5 of the Holtz years for most of us. We lost a lot of online presence since then, so I'd expect the same if your trend continues. Your perspective on GOL doesn't seem to be the majority here in Orlando, but now it's getting a lot more traction.Interest generally lags performance. When they DID in fact state that we would also fall on hard times someday? There were very few fan bases cockier than ours for a while there and we have certainly been taken down a peg or 12. Going from non existence to Number 2 in the country will do that to those with lack of foresight I suppose.Their's sort of happened naturally. Our's was self-inflicted and on purpose. They still get the last laugh.

Irregardless and irredifferent are both "words". Merriam Webster: word - a written or printed character or combination of characters representing a spoken wordThere ya go. If some use it as a spoken word, it is a word. It's just not well accepted among the educated. What I find even funnier is his holier than thou coming out because he's been anti-USF for so long. He appears to be a Bull in name, but is basking in USFs struggles, irregardlessly.

"Regardless" means without regard and the prefix, "ir" mean not as in, "irregular". So, what he may actually mean is, "not without regard".
