We had our share of humble pie.

They laughed.

We said "hey its a rough patch, we were good once and will get back"

They laughed more.

We said "hey, could happen to you, take it easy"

They put up a billboard in our city.

Then... finally... they lose miserably. 

So no, absolutely I have zero sympathy and am enjoying every moment of this because it is too long coming to a fan base that got way too cocky. 

ALSO Bonus points: each time a UCiF fan says how they were good once - when that was supposedly not relevant when we used to say it -  you get one point. Tally em up.

Orlando radio this morning was talking about UCiF woes and the need to look for a coach. One season's fall, and they're looking to blow up GOL after declaring him their savior the last couple of years. I got a good laugh, and half of them are hoping he'll stick around so they get more free beer. Ouch.

There were very few fan bases cockier than ours for a while there and we have certainly been taken down a peg or 12.  Going from non existence to Number 2 in the country will do that to those with lack of foresight I suppose.

And?  i don't see wher eit mentions how in 2007 we had a bunch of arrogant fans talking down to UCF fans, them telling us our time would come, and being right about it?  My point is they were saying exactly what we are saying to them now.

I'll admit a lack of familiarity with you, beastiebull, but you should really replace the "bull" on your name with "knight" or "pegasus" or something that helps the average Bulls fan understand your angle.

UCF fans had fun during the good times and we have more of an online presence bc of the youth of our fanbase. But we also can quickly laugh at how bad we are bc most remember the bad times not long ago.

 

And there are a good portion of the UCF fanbase that have never liked O'leary even with the Fiesta Bowl year. Even with 8 wins this season a lot of fans are over him bc his retirement holding pattern is having a negative impact on recruiting and at this point it's hurting the Program
