UCF fans had fun during the good times and we have more of an online presence bc of the youth of our fanbase. But we also can quickly laugh at how bad we are bc most remember the bad times not long ago.

And there are a good portion of the UCF fanbase that have never liked O'leary even with the Fiesta Bowl year. Even with 8 wins this season a lot of fans are over him bc his retirement holding pattern is having a negative impact on recruiting and at this point it's hurting the Program

Interesting. Our laughing stopped about year 2.5 of the Holtz years for most of us. We lost a lot of online presence since then, so I'd expect the same if your trend continues. Your perspective on GOL doesn't seem to be the majority here in Orlando, but now it's getting a lot more traction.

I'll admit a lack of familiarity with you, beastiebull, but you should really replace the "bull" on your name with "knight" or "pegasus" or something that helps the average Bulls fan understand your angle.

I think beastiebull's posts are obnoxious but he is right. I am in Texas, and have lived several other places and the only recognition I get when wearing my Bulls gear is when someone mistakes us for UCF. This is true even though I'm currently in a city with an AAC team. It didn't used to be like that, and it can change back quickly, but it's the truth right now in most parts of the country that don't have extensive experience with us (WVU, Louisville, etc.)

I was here when our fans were embarrassing themselves talking about National Championships and our mediocre players being shoe-ins for the NFL.  In fact you were probably one of those myopians which is why you are taking such objection to my perspective.
