Wow... Further UCF national embarrassment - UCF WR Tweets

USF fans fighting against other USF fans about whether or not UCF has a higher national profile than us?  The world has gone mad.   I am not sure what we have done in the last five years to be allowed in this conversation.  There was a time when we were the "cool new kid", I along with every other Bull fan I knew dismissed UCF.  We were in the Big East, they were in CUSA, the conference we left for bigger and better things.  I don't pretend to know how one measures national profile.  I travel a lot and truth be told, I don't see much of either school.  But, until we win the conference or a decent bowl, heck, until we beat them in conference, I am not sure what we are arguing about, they have us right now.

Further, no matter what their record, if we don't beat them this year, our program might explode.  It would be different if we were actually good this year.  

I am with HM and Craig, I don't feel bad for them one bit.

Usage Discussion of IRREGARDLESS

Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.
