That is the one bright spot of the team, as long as the D is not worn out by the 4th quarter from playing so much. 

I thought Taggart was an offensive wizard.  Why does the offense suck so much?

After sitting through last nights horrible play calling I don't see us winning more than 1 of those games. Unless cwt opens up the play calling we have a better chance of going 0-3.

we could win if we played to win.  When watching the offense during a game, it looks like they are practicing to get better instead of playing to win.  With that mindset, we won't win.  Quit using the 60 min of game time as practice and concentrate on the objective--to have more points than the opposition when time runs out.

Don't be surprised? I'll have a **** heart attack if we're 4-4 during that stretch. Only place this squad is going with this coach, is down. Defense is better though, but that has nothing to do with CWT.

Good possibility, but only if USF's defense can keep those teams below 17 points.  But, you're right, those teams can be beat, and going 4-4 would be a huge leap forward for both the team and Taggart's future here.

Every game outside of FSU on our schedule is a "winnable" game. 

UCONN and SMU are MASSIVELY improved this season. Syracuse played LSU tight and lost by 10. 

UCONN kicks a FG against Missouri at the end of the game they're in OT with them. They have a good defense. 

SMU gave Baylor and TCU fits for a few quarters both top 5 teams. 

Before the season I would have and probably did pencil in W's against UCONN and SMU. Not now. I bet they're dog fights and if I had to guess we go 1-2 in the next 3 games beating one of UCONN or SMU.

Cuse is 3-1, and played LSU fairly tight.  They'll be a 5-7 point favorite, I think.  UConn has played some good teams tight, but played poorly against bad teams.  Same with SMU.  If we don't beat these 2, we really don't belong in a bowl game.

If we win all 3, to go 4-3, I'm sure we'll be able to pick up 2 more wins (ideally 1 v UCF).  Lots of ifs, but anything is possible...none of the upcoming foes are world beaters.

We scored only 17 against the weak defense of Memphis. 

No reason to think Taggart will change the crappy play calling. If we change the play calling maybe we win some. 

With Taggart calling his 9 runs for every 10 plays we will lose to some bad teams.

A few items here.

USF does have a chance to beat Syracuse. Cuse is on their 3rd string walk on QB.

Not sure about the UCONN game. USF is 2 - 4 on the road against UCONN.

This year SMU averages 28 points per game against FBS opponents.  USF avgs 16 against FBS opponents.
