Linebackers are clearly our biggest weakness on defense

Fullwood doesn't like to tackle, that much from yesterdays game is clear as mountain spring water.  Keep him off the two deep until he learns how to tackle.

Agree.

Keep him in the returning game, maybe give him a shot at WR.

our best corner ever didn't like to tackle. in fact most shut down corners don't. deion sanders hated to tackle.

Revisionist History 101.  Mike Jenkins loved to tackle and laid wood at nearly every occasion.  Did he not wrap up sometimes? Sure, but that was the exception not the rule.  Did he catch serious flack in Dallas for not laying the wood (Derrick Ward?), yeah, he did.  But with USF, the kid would stick his helmet in there nearly every time.  Fullwood is No-wood (sorry bausfkid, had to borrow), watch the game.

Watching Coach Allen on the sidelines brought back great memories. Seeing him jumping around a ball of excitement. I don't see him being a shy one when it comes to correcting a player.

Head Coach in waiting.... not kidding either

yeah he wrapped up a 180 lb receiver and even occasionally laid a big hit on one but he would have shied away just like fullwood did against a 200+ RB in the open field. we've had some big hitters in our day but i would never classify Jenkins as one.

How many more Venus de Milo attempts at tackling did Fulwood have on Saturday?

Where's LB Vincent Jackson?

He's a DE not a LB.

You are right; however, last I heard about him since his commitment was from this thread:

Haven't re-watched game yet so I really didn't know. I think he ended up with 5 tackles so didn't know if there were more he left on the table like Cook's 1st td run ...

He went to great lengths to hype himself (to reasonable success, so I commend him for that). In reality, he may end up being a good player for us but he was never going to take the world by storm as a freshman.
