Linebackers are clearly our biggest weakness on defense

Not worried about LB,  Esp with the hand we were dealt yesterday (ejection) and two other Defensive players serving suspension.     As for Fullwood that was pathetic. The 70 yard cook run and he doesn't even try to use his arms to tackle,(TRIED TO BUMP HIM WITH SHOULDER ONLY)   the TD pass just over his head(put your arms up and you knock the ball down or intercept it).   He appears to think that using his body is enough.   They need to sit him on the bench or teach him the basics before next week.    The old saying goes "you as good as your weakest link" and I think we found a weak link in are chain.

Hbryan,

He was an embarrassment. Everyone looks for the ESPN kill shot. Few have the juice to be a highlight. He's one of them that does not. Cook must of thought a gust of wind pushed him on his first TD run. Fullwood should be called Nowood.

agreed.  If Fullwood is not going to wrap up and tackle then sit him down.  He does have good ball hawking skills which is why he's back there but if you won't tackle you can't play

When he was recruited, I was hoping he'd play WR, as he's fast and elusive.  He is aggressive, but he had "Jerome Murphy-like" hits out of bounds that could've been 15 yarders.

How can you tell with 2 starters suspended and Auggie out half the game?

Not only the tackle attempt, but earlier in the play full wood had a 1 on 1 chance to make a stop but got his legs twisted up with poor body position.

Considering our two best and most experienced LBs have missed the first two games, I'm not terribly worried yet.

Data bull is right, we were forced by suspension to go with backup MLBs, next week when the guys come back we will see what was intended to be there from the start.

Won't be full strength until second half when Auggie returns. Still no surprise that with Whitehurst and Harris out and then Auggie out that was when FSU started to roll finding WRs open across middle

Completely agree.  And by the same token, FSU's Andrews should have been ejected at the end of the game and USF should have been able to run one more play.
