Linebackers are clearly our biggest weakness on defense

I've been saying it for months, but today it was obvious.

I'm not pushing the panic button, because:

1. Davin Cook is strong & fast...best back we'll see all year.  Still, LBs were out of position a few times on big plays (but dude's lateral cuts were sick, so not mad, really).

2. Sanchez seems a fair amount better this year.

3. Early play by Danny Thomas is promising...kid is going to be special.

4. We get Harris & Whitehurst back for MD.

5. Continued attacking play by DL will reduce pressure on LBs.

Again, I think we have some young talent, but we'll have to help this group & get better play if we want to win 7-8 games.

Considering our two best and most experienced LBs have missed the first two games, I'm not terribly worried yet.

Not worried at one point we had our top three linebackers out, result not a shock.

The plus is that the 4-2-5 eases some of the depth issues at LB.

Tackling is still our biggest weakness.. DBs need to wrap up better.

I am still trying figure out how HOlman and THomas are ahead of Juwan and Josh Black?  I know they play the Bull now but they did not even make the trip

Fullwood doesn't like to tackle, that much from yesterdays game is clear as mountain spring water.  Keep him off the two deep until he learns how to tackle.

Hbryan,

He was an embarrassment. Everyone looks for the ESPN kill shot. Few have the juice to be a highlight. He's one of them that does not. Cook must of thought a gust of wind pushed him on his first TD run. Fullwood should be called Nowood

Maybe Norbit:
