That is the dumbest rule I have ever heard. Taking points of the board, really?

When did they change that rule?

Still it falls on Taggart for not making sure the players know the rules.

Last year I think. In this case taunting wasn't dead ball - you did it during live action and thus it is a spot file. I am not a fan of high steps or slowing down being considered 'taunting' but those are the rules and that was a clear penalty.

Wonder how many rumbles Harris would have forced by now?

Stupid stupid rule

It is stupid, but also a rule, this just shows a lack of discipline.

This offense might be faster paced, but it's still boring

I have never seen that called before.

Beginning in 2011, if a player is penalized for taunting an opponent on his way to a touchdown that play will be nullified. Currently, that would be a deal-ball foul and assessed on the ensuing kickoff.

But the new rule will make it a live-ball foul, meaning if a player holds the ball out in a taunting manner as he's crossing the goal line, does some type of somersault heading into the end zone or high steps his way into the end zone, the touchdown will be called back and the penalty will be assessed from the spot of the foul.

So we are moving on the ground, but can't finish yet. D seems really tight so far.

If history didn't say otherwise I'd chalk it up to first game jitters, but but but but
