fla331boy -- Same here.  My father and four uncles went to State, and I was born in Lansing. :-)

Rooted for MSU growing up - despite the losing ways.... so I know what it's like to support a program that has struggles as well.

Always optimistic... but I support the Bulls through thick and thin..

LOL what a small world.

Sigma Chi?

I'm excited as well. I think there are a lot less questions this year than the past few years. It was just a couple years ago where our running back situation was worrisome and now is our strongpoint. ðŸ‚

So here's the question do we think that the QB situation is >= Ronnie Banks and Pat Julsmiste era bc a killer D and running game were able to go bowling...

Let me just say.

Growing up in Michigan and being raised a State fan, we got used to the years and years of losing whether it was football or on the hardwood.

With that being said,  we always stood by the team and university with hopes that each year would be better than the last.

It was a great feeling to actually head North with our USF Bulls and take on Sparty but on the other hand was odd growing up as a State fan.

Nonetheless, I am in Bulls Country and will continue to support and become more excited every year when we see those horns held high and that screams of U S F when the ball is kicked off.

I think it's time to turn the bus into a tank that runs 0-60 in less than 6.

Man let's do this! #ALLIN

You know, I posted while traveling that I was watching on my iPad the 2008 USF v Kansas game.  It does not appear to be available any longer on iTunes, but that USF defense was swarming, nasty and hard-hitting.

The hit by Jerome Murphy on that Kansas WR/QB was one of the best ever.

I would like to see the team turn the corner and have Willie stick around. And destroy UCF please.  All we need to do is learn how to score a little.

Nostalgia happening.  What a great team and atmosphere.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
